Index Stock Shots is one of the few independent stock footage houses still operating. For 40 years we have produced our own footage and continue adding to the collection on a systematic basis. Regular clients know the quality of our content, newcomers soon find out.

We were shooting high resolution imagery long before the advent of high definition. Our rights managed collection contains a remarkable mix of subject matter captured on Super 35mm film, a format which holds even more information than the products of today's HD movie cameras. The negative has been transferred to HD formats to provide picture quality at 1080 x 1920 resolution and can be scanned to 2K and 4K for ultimate high-end applications.

Our camera assignments have taken us all over the world. Many iconic scenes have been captured in remarkable light conditions. From San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge to Europe's high-speed Eurostar trains, from the Pyramids of Egypt and the Taj Mahal of India to modern airliners in twilight skies -- it's all here.

For over four decades our footage has been licensed for television, cinema, advertising and corporate productions. Our clients range from TV producers to leading ad agencies, from big names to small independents, from Hollywood to Bollywood.
